Tile floor
It might be faster/easier to remove the entire bathroom floor and then replace the subfloor and add vinyl flooring, than to try to take up just the individual tiles.
Afterall you are going to replace the subfloor in the livingroom and all the bathroom should take is about 2 more sheets.

I like the suggest to give Evil Erik the chisel and sledge hammer and set him loose!
We have to get to the subfloor first, though!
The good news is that Rick and I are going over there on Friday and I think with his help we should have pretty good progress.
