Latest Update (with pics)
Although, I'm too sleepy to narrate them. I'll post commentary tomorrow. I will say this, you'll see a couple shots of Erik the Red havin fun painting your living room wall. So looks like Janet (who laid down all the primer) and Erick the Evil will be the responsible parties for any living room painting issues!!
Also, I have a few shots of the boiler/hot water tank. The red tag that LG&E flagged the setup with is dated in July of 1996. Which means there has been an untended gas lea k there for HOW many years!?
Also, you may have to live with the fireplace insert. I discovered as I was cleaning it up that a huge brick from the ceiling of the chimney (do chimneys have ceilings?!) has sort of collapsed toward the cast iron fire place. I took a shot of it from both sides of the fireplace insert looking into the fireplace.
You will see where the plywood and drywall was delivered. Hopefully tomorrow we can show you what that looks like in your new bathroom!!

It appears that part of the ceiling of the original fireplace has shifted down. From the pics it has not totally fell as it is not resting on the top of the insert. It may be possible to remove the insert and shore up the fallen piece of rock.
Well, we decided that was an *executive decision* and none of us are executives...
We'll let you make that call when you get here!
