Rain?! AGAIN???!!!!!

Well, it's pooring like a mo-fo out today. I'm so disappointed. Plus, I've had so many errands to run today, I haven't been able to really do anything at Frec Central.

I DID manage to break one of Scott's skill saws, or whatever they're called.

I also met with the carpet and vinyl flooring guy. He took measurements and gave me prices.

$800+ change for the vinyl in the bathroom and the kitchen and $2,100 for the carpet in the den and living room.

They'll want a 50% deposit tomorrow to order and it will take two weeks from Monday to come in.

That will give us a fairly good window to finish fixing the bathroom floor and laying the living room sub-floor.

Oh, the city of Shively picked up your trash yesterday!! Well, all except for that garbage-can-full that got knocked over in the winds and ended up spreading itself all over the front yard, part of the back yard and up against our neighbors who use the front yard as their driveway.

But I got that all picked up. A little soggy, but eh...!!!

I hope to get Scott over there tonight so we can finish up removing the kitchen cabinets.

Suzy and Mark are supposed to drop in tomorrow and get the bathroom drywalling done.
